This comes up a lot. A sense of “intimidation”, and that all of the women in my work are professional models, and a worry that if otherwise the same results won’t be achieved. The reality is that the majority of the women I’ve photographed are not actual models, and instead fantastic, amazing people working other jobs, being mothers and partners and living their lives. They have no interest in a modeling career, and simply want to celebrate their bodies and femininity. And through my gift for direction, that is exactly what I will help you do. Everyone is beautiful, there is just a learning of how each individual, unique and different, can reveal that in imagery. It is a special relationship of framing, posing, composition, and discovering your best lines. They ARE there. I hope for everyone to celebrate their special beauty, and not fear it isn’t there. It IS.
